A Different Road

Let me be not judge of others,
Nor indifferent to another,
Let me see, not just with eyes,
But with heart, past each disguise.
Let me feel another's sadness,
And rejoice with them in gladness,
Share their burden and their sorrow,
Help them reach out for tomorrow.
Let myself be humble, knowing,
That the road they now are going,
Might be mine if life unraveled,
And a different road I traveled.
